I was finally able to feel the baby moving!!
The Adventures of Mom, Dad and Amaya!
I was finally able to feel the baby moving!!

GIRL!
We took our time to share the news and did it on OUR terms since people have a bad habit of sharing news that's not theirs to share. P. sent out a mass text message and we personally called a few other family members and overall I'm pretty happy with the way it went down.
So far I've purchased a ridiculous amount of clothes, am crafting a ridiculously girlie nursery and keep reminding P that two Telles females are more than likely going to drive him nutty. Woot!!
PS. I'm officially 20 weeks!
We decided on furniture and ordered it this afternoon! I can't wait to get started on painting the room and decorating everything.

Since the nursery closet will also hold my clothes we needed to get some kind of closet organizer for it. We checked out Home Depot, Lowes, Container Store and a few other places, and the prices for their systems were too much money. So we eventually ended up at OSH and found the Easy Track system. Last Saturday we went and picked everything up and the project began. I started putting together the drawers and the tower pieces, but needed a level and some other tools I did not have, so Mike(FIL) came over and brought some tools we needed and ended up helping put it up. It took about 2 hours since neither of us really knew how it was supposed to go, but in the end it turned out okay. After we finished we took the parents out for Sushi since they helped out a lot.
Last Friday we went to have our latest ultrasound which went well, with only one caveat. I really wish Kaiser would get it together when it comes to our appointments. Yet again, we had to wait and when the tech came out to ask where we were the receptionist looked around in confusion even though we were the ONLY ones in the waiting area. Inside the room Baby T. sat stubbornly with crossed legs and the tech was unsure of the sex. Over fondue later that night P. and I wondered if we would have a stubborn child. Hahaha P already has a stubborn wife but a stubborn child may set him over the edge!
Here's the latest pic of our sweetpea!
Last Friday I had lunch with my friend Riquesha who brought her adorable baby Oriana along for the ride. Seriously, if I could have a baby that is as calm and happy as Ori I would be so happy! She is too perfect with her curly hair, little fingers and adorable smile! Major thanks to Riqui for answering all my questions honestly and always with humor, we ended up talking for like 4 hours straight!
Those who know me in person know that I love fashion and handbags. I confess I have been having a hard time finding cute maternity clothes. I feel like everything looks like a tent on me. P. and I braved the weather this weekend to find some clothes and I found two things I learned a number of things.
1. Old Navy sizing sucks.
2. Motherhood displays their cute clothes in the window but good luck finding anything in the store.
3. Kohl's carries a line of cheaper items from Motherhood. Hell, if Vera Wang can have a line there why not Motherhood?
4. No matter how much I argue I cannot justify $178 COH maternity jeans.
5. One of my BFF works at Mimi maternity and better hook me up on my birthday, (AHEM Miss B.)
Here are my two purchases!
Grey Baby Doll Top
Mudd Wide Leg Jeans
Time seems to be flying. It's hard to believe Tiffany is already 4 months pregnant. It was just back in November when she was peeing on a stick and finding out we were going to be parents. There just seems to be so much to do, and if the time keeps moving so fast I hope we are able to get everything done.
