A Day at the Farm!

We went to a Las Madres playdate at a local sustainable farm in Sunnyvale. They gave the kids a tour of the farm, let them pet chickens, eat just picked broccoli and kale and take home a pea to plant for themselves! Amaya liked the chickens until one tried to peck her and she got mad and ran away. I'm really hoping that she gets used to a garden atmosphere so when she gets older she'll actually want to help grow her own food!
