A Pre Valentine's Day Social

Today was so incredibly busy and fun for both Amaya and I. Because of the rain it's felt like we were getting stuck in the house for long periods at a time so before we went batsh!t crazy we decided to go on an adventure! We decided to go to the Little Star Cafe and meet up with some online friends. After driving an hour to Walnut Creek (gulp) we made it there in one piece and had a fabulous time visiting with everyone. Thanks to the EB crew for welcoming Amaya and I with open arms, you all are awesome women!

Amaya on a Lazy Saturday...

Today Amaya interacted with her dog Sassy! Amaya thinks that Sassy is the funniest thing since staring at herself in the mirror (see video.) Amaya is sitting up for longer stretches and even stands up for short amounts of time as evidenced in these pictures! My beautiful girl is growing up so fast....

Amaya Gets An Eviction Notice!

Amaya is now 7 months old so we decided that we should perhaps try to transition her to her own room. Tonight is night 5 and so far things are going well! I admit, the first night was tough, I slept horrible and kept checking on her a million times. But Paul was right I think we are all sleeping better and it's just another example of Amaya growing up! Still, she wakes up once or twice a night and I run into her room, scoop her up and bring her back to snuggle with us because I miss her! Here's a few pictures of her sound asleep in her new digs.

Superbowl Sunday @ Grammie's House!

Even though Amaya and I could care less about football I think the Superbowl is an opportunity to get together with family for the commercials and all you can eat junkfood. I've been playing around with the settings on the camera and got a few good pictures of Amaya spending time with Grammie. FYI the toy she is biting on is Haba's Rosella Clutching toy courtesy of Grammie and Grampie.
