San Diego (Day 3)

We decided to do a couple of days in San Diego to check out the San Diego Zoo and the boardwalk area. We stayed at the Hyatt Resort on the San Diego Marina and it was such a gorgeous hotel. We were certainly very comfortable and it was really a good deal. Here's a slideshow of the zoo and a few pics of our hotel!

Vacation Day 1

We decided to take a trip with Grammie and Grampie to Disneyland and San Diego for Amaya's first vacation! Amaya did really well on the plane trip and slept almost 100% of the time in the air. Kickass!!

Show Me That Tooth!

One recent afternoon we were hanging out and Paul started tickling Amaya. I grabbed the camera and took the opportunity to take a picture of that elusive tooth that popped up recently! The second one is right below the skin awaiting its debut. I guess this is causing the sleepless nights and her refusal to sleep in her own bed.

A Wonderful Playdate with Friends!

Mondays are our typical playdate with a group of friends. Today we met at River Glen Park which is a fantastic park that has a section for younger kiddos. Amaya hung out with her friend Charlie which essentially means she stole his toys and cheerios. In fact she was so determined to get his stuff that she plopped herself down in his lap to get a better vantage point on his snacks. Charlie didn't seem to mind though!

In the Garden

I had been wanting to start a garden, so last weekend Paul and I loaded up Amaya into the car and went to go get plants and fruit bushes. Alas, they only had strawberry plants so we got those lavender and daises and headed back to plant everything. Since then we've added basil, rosemary and parsley to a small container!
