A trip to the Oakland Zoo!

I wanted this summer to be about adventures now that Amaya is old enough to actively participate in most of them. We headed off to the Oakland Zoo recently on a day that Paul had off from work. I had heard good things about the zoo and we were pleasantly surprised! I think our favorite part was the tram rid up and around the lion habitat and where the bison roam around. Amaya liked looking at the big turtles and got a kick out of brushing the goats!

Preschool is going quite well for Amaya. She is bringing home some of the cutest little projects, can identify her colors and sings so many songs from memory that she learns at school. Fro the second time in a row we forgot about her school pictures and sent her to school in not so great outfits. the next session is in November and we will be ready for it. I still think they came out cute though!
