The Fourth!

We had an amazing 4th of July weekend! On the day of we met up with our friends Jennifer and Ruby for their neighborhood parade! It was really cute, with old cars and homemade floats. Then we hightailed it over to Vasona park for a BBQ (in the shade.) Amaya got so dirty and we all ate until we were stuffed! My flag cake ended up being pretty popular so I was thrilled.







On the day after we headed over to a Madres BBQ and swim party at a beautiful house in the Silver Creek hills. Amaya and Daddy swam until they were wrinkly and then Amaya had fun playing on the slides and jungle gym.






By Monday night we were totally exhausted but really happy that we spent time with friends and family!
