We snagged these at a great sale the other day! I really like Robeez shoes since lately Amaya has taken to pulling off her socks and eating them. Little stinker!

Amaya's pink music table came in and we set it up for her to play with. She seems interested in it and would prefer to stand and play instead of sitting down!

8 months Today!
8 months today! I would stop and cry but since Amaya takes that opportunity to try to break out the front door I won't ;)
Our lovebug is doing really good. She just ate pears for the first time and after a few weird faces decided she really liked it. The transition to the bed is getting easier! The last few nights she slept in until 5 and 6 am! I think the sleep strike is over, thank goodness. I think it was a slow process of me letting her soothe herself with her lovie and having the patience to let her drift back off to sleep. Sure we have to listen to her say "MMMMBBAAAAAHHHHHHHH" but that's ok maybe she is trying to explain to her lovie that they both have to go back to sleep!
This month are goals are to get to that Gymboree class, regularly attend our mom's group and storytime and to convince Daddy that we should try out swim class!
A Visit to See Sofia

We took Amaya to meet her new BFF Sofia! We went to Aunt Nana's house and hung out for awhile. Amaya tried to grab Teddy the dog while Sofia slep the entire time. I can't wait until these two can play together but for now, we'll just go visit and cuddle Sofia instead!

Today was so incredibly busy and fun for both Amaya and I. Because of the rain it's felt like we were getting stuck in the house for long periods at a time so before we went batsh!t crazy we decided to go on an adventure! We decided to go to the Little Star Cafe and meet up with some online friends. After driving an hour to Walnut Creek (gulp) we made it there in one piece and had a fabulous time visiting with everyone. Thanks to the EB crew for welcoming Amaya and I with open arms, you all are awesome women!
